I get rid of greenfly on my roses by using my fingers - I just rub the little blighters off, I'd do the same with ya strawberries if it were me

Just rub them of and then spray them with nettle tea

Spraying them with soapy water works too. (What kind of soap you use depends on how you feel about organic principles etc)

Bug Off, or something similar, or they'll destroy your plants and your crop. I know, I grow hundreds.

I seem to be repeating myself ... squish them with your fingers before the population explodes.
Attract things that eat aphids (ladybird, lacewing, blue tits) with a few flowers like Limnanthes (for the bugs) and fat balls (for the birds)

The advice for aphids is the same whatever plant they are infesting. Why do we have 100s of threads (it seems) asking the same question? It's like all those ruddy parsnip threads earlier in the year.
