Can't believe it, the temp. actually went up tp 25deg. Terribly cloudy but still so humid. Had to water plants twice today. Not a drop of rain. 15deg at the moment and its nearly midnight.

Weather. Well what can I say. A great week weatherwise for the last 5or 6 days. Today, being August bank holiday, what does it do, rain of course. Has been raining sinse early morning. Yes it was needed, but on a bank holiday, i think not.
Temp for today- 14 to 21C. At the moment its 19deg and lashing rain.

Bank holiday Monday. Started off dull and dreary this morning. By lunch time it had picked up somewhat. By afternoon we had another summers day with blue skies and bright sunshine.
Temp. 15 to 21 deg. currently 19deg. and v. sunny.

Tuesday 8th. August. DFay started off lovely and sunny. Continued like that until about 5 o'clock this evening when it lashed rain for a few hours. Rain stopped now. Dullo and grey but still warm. Current temp. 16degs.

Hi,

Well, I've been away for almost a week so I've no idea what my weather has been doing in the South East! I'll be finding out tomorrow though, so wish me luck... no dead plants I hope!

Bramble - it'll be interesting to see how our weather differs over the coming seasons - frosts, general temperature highs and lows etc.... I find down here (and especially being by the coast) that we never get really cold winters (and our frosts are not usually that harsh), and never get really hot summers. This summer has been particularly dry (but luckily not too scorching on the plants).

Anyway, will update with a weather report when I find out what's been going on in Waterford!

Today has been a mix of sun and clouds. A little light wind - no rain.
Temp between 9 - 18 degrees C with some humidity.

Need some rain - everything here is very scorched.

Weather the last few days fine and dry with the exception of tuesday which was a washout.

The last few days here have been VERY rainy to say the least! Torrential rain yesterday....

Today the weather has calmed down and was just raining lightly for a bit this morning - quite warm and humid.

I have actually been brave and put some washing out....

Well weather really broke on friday, a wholeday of rain. Sat. showery and sunny spells. Sunday, a sunny day. Started to rain tonight. Temp. still around 11 or 12 deg at night.

Well... I don't know what the weather is doing here.... Monday morning started nice, then we had drizzle, then mist/low cloud for the remainder of the day and evening. Wasn't cold though - just dreary

Today has started quite dull, but again it's not cold. Temps around 15 - 23 degrees today.

Today (Sat) dull start but in the afternoon it really picked up. The sky cleared and was totally blue without a cloud and the sun shone all after4noon. More peppers and toms ripened and picked today from the glasshouse.

mon, weather was dull and windy today with the sun making a couple of efforts to squeeze through but never did make it. At about 5 o'clock this evening the rain started and has'nt stopped since. Temp still high though.

Today, thursday, what a beautiful day. Sun shone all day. Felt like summer. Picked lots of toms today outdoor. Ripening as well as summer but woodlice still a problem. Temp high all day.
