I used to post regularly on the old thread for East of England, but eventually gave up when it appeared that I was the only person posting. Will definitely try the new one and hope more members join in - I know there are a few of us Grapes in East Anglia.

Sorry to sound like a muppet, but what are we meant to put on here? Do we put what the weather has been like where we are?

Been really cold today, but sunny and dry. Shame I have the lurgy - haven't managed to do much as I'm still suffering from the aftereffects of my cold (I refuse to call it flu). No frost this morning, but I'm expecting one tomorrow. It was only 3 degrees at 4 o'clock and the sky is clear.

You find the BBC five day forecast good TwoSheds? It's often way out for Colchester - I'm better off making my own predictions! I'm giving the Met Office forecast a go at the moment, has been good so far.

Foggy here today, but at least the chickens' water wasn't frozen.

Sleet, sunny, windy, still, drizzle, blinking nippy and I carried on regardless!

It's melting! Glorious sunshine now, step outside and it sounds like it's pouring with rain as the snow melts away.

Snow again this morning. Walked to work in my sexy gardening boots so I didn't slip.

I biked to Suffolk this morning without a coat or gloves. When I got there it was freezing and drizzly. Roll on British Summertime

Well, the snow's just about all gone, but it's been cold and drizzly all day. The forecast isn't looking good either. BBC 5 day doesn't forecast any sunshine at all for my area, just dark and wet.

It says heavy rain for the next week on the BBC website... they have been wrong about this many times before! Fingers crossed for a dry weekend!

Wet most of the day today, but cleared around 4 pm. Snow's all gone now. I do hope it's a dry(ish) weekend, I really need to do some gardening. I saw the BBC website too, Paul and it doesn't look good but as you say they have been wrong before!
