I think I got mine from Dobies last year...must admit it was rather a waste of time and I didn't get a jot out of them but good luck with your's

I got some in Wyevale at the weekend. Don't know if they will provide a crop as this is the first time I have tried.Comment

By all means give it a go................. I've tried three years running and hardly got a spud.
Come to think of it I can't recall hearing of ANYONE on the vine who has went out on Christmas morning and picked enough for there dinner?

what does work for me is to leave some Pink Fir Apples in the ground (my soil is light and sandy). They seem resistant to slugs (unlike my King Eds) and just get a light mulch of grass clippings in late summer to see them through.All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.Comment

I have a few small potatoes from my main crop and thought of planting those up for a winter crop. Is it ok to use these?Comment

I plan to do this every year but never do but this year I'm intending to plant up a few of my second earlies (Charlotte) and see what happens. They'll be in pots in the cold greenhouse and protected with fleece when necessary. To be honest, am not expecting much but it's worth a try.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

I've bought some at Wyevale GC. Have been advised to plant them in potato bags (where I successfully grew all my spuds this year) and when it gets a bit cold to move them into my unheated greenhouse and keep them free from frost. We'll see what happens.........Comment

My Plan is to grow some xmas spuds in polypots inside my greenhouse. That should do the job nicely I hope.
I will make up my usual mix with some old compost and them put a plastic bag on the ground and add a 2 inch layer of this mix which I will them place the polypots onto.Comment

Obviously you know your spuds so a question.
I love Cyprus spuds and wondered if you've ever tried to go them?
