    Would you put a pumpkin here?

    Hi Guys
    Thinking about putting a pumpkin where the X is,

    I wouldn't they get huge. I would you need a space at least 2m x 1m and then some.

      As Roitelet says.........6ft sq per plant should be adequate.

        This is very true ^^^^, but I have read that you can train your plant to grow in a circle if you put canes in. I'm not sure I believe it though ............

                              Now I can see it I'd be more concerned that it's a bit if a shadowed corner behind the greenhouse, wouldn't have thought it was the ideal place to plant anything except maybe salad stuffs but if you've got a spare plant and want to try it then give it a go and see as I could be talking rubbish again
