Default Veg advice pleas

Good Morning. Can anyone advise me on my runner beans or rather lack of them. They grew and grew they flowered but i have had only a hand full of beans worth picking. There are still a few straggly beans here and there about 5cm long.I'm growing in raised beds with a good soil depth.Shall I just pull them up put it down to expierience, and start again next year.My potatoes did well although not a huge yeald but good enough.Carrots were slow to germinate and again they were disapointing.Broad beans were better but not a huge amount I have fed and watered. what am i doing wrong.

Nothing Jobrac,

It's just been a funny season. The hot weather meant that the beans didn't set flowers (if it's the same next year try spraying with water or grow climbing french beans - they like it a bit warmer)

I suspect hte hot weather didn't help with the carrots - I had the same trouble.

Broad beans aren't huge croppers in comparrison to others any way - just grow more next year.
