  • Tomatoes and Peppers

    Hi, Have i left it too late or is there still time for me to grow tomatoes and peppers from seed for this summer. I have a south facing window sill (house) and a plastic greenhouse for the garden. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks x

    Peter Pepper,Moruga Scorpion,Habanero,Bhut Jolokia(yellow),Numex Twilight,Purple Jalapeno,Big Jim,Papri Paprika,Thai Hybrid,Esplendor,Sweet mini bell pepper and Patio fire chilli...

    Also
    Black tomato,Dragons Egg Cucumbers and Charentais Melon

        I hope you will, because I have still got to sow my chillis too.

        My tomatoes have been in the propagator for a couple of weeks, but for some reason I never got around to sowing any chillis.

          Im doing mine this week. I have limited windowsill space and a plastic greenhouse too so I didnt see the point in starting too early when Id have nowhere to put them later on if the weather is bad!

            if annums, like cayenne, jalapeno etc then your just on the edge of being ok...for habs you will struggle to get them to ripen this year unless we have a good summer with good light levels but as they say get them in and see what happens, if not then you will have some good contenders for overwintering
