Default Tomato Trusses

Hi again,

Apologies in advance for daft questions , my first year of growing tomatoes

If I understood correctly, once my tomato plant has formed certain amount of trusses, I have to pinch out main stem. This, as I understood, would stop tomato from forming anymore trusses, is that so?

Also, most of my seeds are either T&M's or Suttons, but instructions seem to be rather general. Do all of the tomatoes have to be pinched out after 4 trusses have set? I'm growing:

Yellow Pear Shaped
Gardener's Delight
Sungold
Sungella
Golden Sunrise
Beefsteak F1
Vitella F1

Thanks again,

Some people do it religiously with all toms. Some leave it to 5 or 6 if in a greenhouse. I always forget!
