  • Pre chitted peas!

    Hi guys

A chap at my allotment advised that the best way to start peas off was to pre chit them first. Why not I thought so I have started off all of my remaining peas. now the ones I got free from birdeye have a little green shoot so I am presuming that this goes up in the pot... The others just have a little white shoot - which way up would you plant this? I was plannin on putting them in modules to grow on for a week or two but could they go straight out like this now?

    thanks!

They could go straight out, but whatever you do be careful not to break off the emerging roots/shoots

            Overnight is fine

Remember to rinse in clean water every day, you don't want them rotting
