  • Potato trouble, but only one plant

For some reason one of my potatoes is looking less than healthy, but it's not affected any of the other plants at all and has been like this for a while:

The only thing in my book is Leaf Roll, but it says that's pretty serious and I would have thought it would affect the other plants.

    Any ideas?

Hmm, well I uprooted them today and found about 2 handfuls of small potatoes in there, however the larger ones had what looked like common scab on them. I scrubbed them and cooked them. They tasted pretty good, but some had a slightly bitter taste to them.

    Still, I'm not dead.

That's what I thought to start with, but they were all planted at the same time and these started to go like this a week ago. So I couldn't see why they would flop and not the others, which have only recently flowered.

I've found this before where one plant in a row will just sicken and die off before maturity but still yields some spuds. Don't know what it is but it doesn't seem to affect the crop.

That's certainly reassuring. I've realised it's not Leaf Roll as they went floppy not crispy.
            Thanks
