  • planting corgettes

After a long wait my corgettes have germinated and have have suddenly grown to 5 in overnight . I will harden them off over the next couple of days and then plant them in big pots in the green house . My question is , how deep do I plant them . Just as deep as they are now or up to the first leaves , or somewhere in between .

It has two chances , up or down.

Just plant them as deep as they are now but on a slight ridge so that water runs away from the area where the stem comes out of the compost. This should stop the neck rotting!

Any particular reason why you are using valuable greenhouse space , because courgettes will be okay outside

Will put them outside later when warmer . They have to be in 2 big pots as I only have a small garden .

It has two chances , up or down.
