    Our First Runner Beans.

    It seems ages since I last posted, so heres my post, we have picked and eaten our first runner beans (flare) this Tuesday 15/7/08, they were about 6-8" and they were sooooooo tender.
    Hope all the lotties are doing well, regards to everyone

    Well done vron ,they sound delicious!Didnt plant any myself as i started late,next year i'll grow some.

        Had my first dwarf borlottis last week - but I daren't eat anything now as we have the village show on Sautrday and I need stuff to enter! I think they will go in as 'Any other Vegetable' - they'll be eye-catching at least.
        Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

          I had my first ones 5 days ago... they are yummy and cropping extremely well since.
