Default Nicola and Charlotte potatoes

I planted some Nicola potatoes in a potato grow bag about 5 or 6 weeks ago. They're about 12" beneath the surface and just broke through the surface least week. Do I have to earth them up or will they be fine? Do I wait until the flowers die off before pulling them? Finally, I have some Charlotte potatoes which have started to sprout. Is it too late to plant these? Or should I just plant them?

If your potatoes are 12" under they will be fine, but if there's space left in the growbag you can earth them up a bit more if you want. They take about 13 weeks to be ready in good conditions so you can try them after that. Yes you can still plant some Charlotte as they only need 13 frost free weeks. I hope they're great.
