  • My First Ever Crop Of Spuds

    A bit on the small side but they are new potatos..

    Its all a learning process and the next lot which are well on their way will be better im sure

      Things will get better - fingers crossed. Reminds me when the rain stops I'll go and have a furtle to see how mine are doing....

              Well done! You could substitute the mint for chives.... Assuming there are any left already!

                One of the best moments of the gardening year is the first boiling of new tatties dripping with melted butter. It gives me fond memories of my Dad who made an annual ritual of it.

                    We had them today and i must say it was rather satisfying knowing they were grown in my garden and i cant wait to taste even more of home grown crops of not only spuds but my other veg that i have growing

                        Wonderful, the taste of home grown. Very satisfying and so rewarding.
                        Spelling errors are my area of expertise. Apologies if my jumbled up mind/words cause offence.
