Default Joes long chilli

Hi Folks, yet another request from me!

I have grown Joe's Long chilli peppers for the first time, they are green still, can I harvest and dry them?

if not - how do i store them?

I think you can harvest all peppers from the green stage onwards. They get hotter as they change colour. Would have thought you would be okay to dry them or store however you fancy - in oil or whatever.

I agree with Shirl, I dry some of my romanian hot chillies at their green stage. But they taste milder this way ( mine even don't taste spicy at all ).
