| I have been growing some fartichokes from seed and they appear to be fruiting - they have a little bud right in the centre of the plant - is this right? I thought chokes were supposed to throw up stalks with fruit on them? Has anyone grown these before? What should they look like? thanks.

| imperial star artichoke - Google Image Search googled it and this was the response. Fartichokes are definitely the Jerusalem ones...i grew them myself last year.
