    Want to grow Horseradish but not sure best way..help please .

    usually grown from root cuttings or "thongs" someone who knows more will doubtless reccomend a supplier or offer you a cutting
    don't be afraid to innovate and try new things
    remember.........only the dead fish go with the flow

      Chuck a thong in the ground. Leave it be. Harvest the roots when you need them. Really could not be simpler.

        I think it's advised to grow it in a pot as the roots grow deep and fast

          One of the reasons I moved house was the horseradish that had run amok in the garden. Slight exaggeration but you get the picture Be very careful what you wish for

            As someone who forgot to harvest Jerusalem artichokes in winter and now is being taken over, definitely a pot! It's invasive, unless of course u really really eat loads of horseradish? Ps we have a barrel of it - inherited...apparently u can eat the leaves when young, but not sure if u can harvest root all year round? Anyone know? Can't wait to try.
