  • Help - I have saggy tatties!

My Charlottes are going really well except for one bucket where the canopy has collasped.

It's watered etc so I wondered if I can cut some of the height off so they are not so droopy?

    How they are now -

    How the rest are-

I've got some like that, like my cats laid in there? I've left mine (forgot about them) could you tie string around carefully & somehow hold them all together & up? I've pruned a few leaves off a plant that was taking over the patio-rooster,I'd worry cutting off a lot of the leaves the roots wouldn't be getting much energy but I don't know?

It might be better to not touch them if they're delicate & breakable, could the whole thing break off maybe they're quite heavy but thin?

Perhaps they need some firmer support?
I'd definitely not touch them if they're delicate.
        Are they heavy?
Not sure that string would be the best way to hold them up.

As one is fine & the other not so much, maybe try moving the poorly one to be with the happy one it might be something to do with the light in each position

Right my 2 peneth,if they have been like it for a while they are likely to snap if you move them,as they would have resumed a new growing position,if just leave them, plus i would NOT remove any leaves as they are there for a reason,if how ever they are a bother being down, the only way i can suggest is,put some short canes around the pot careful not to spear any babies, get another body to hold up the stems whilst another body puts either string or a netting to support it,hope you get me drift gal.

One of mine suddenly collapsed like that last week, all the others were fine.

I gave it a blooming good drink and the next day it had perked up again. I know you said you have been watering but perhaps this one is still a bit thirsty?

                As always Ta All.

I have moved this saggy bucket so it is next to the bushy one and gently lifted some of the stems so that they rest against the netting on the arch.

OH did the watering earlier and although he swears that it had as much water as the rest I have poured a watering can full in.

So, Ta again and I will see how it goes as at least the other 4 are not floppy.

Mis-read the thread title so my advice is useless
What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
                  Pumpkin pi.

I've actually got 3 (fairly) large melons (plants) in the GH - the plants are looking quite good which is a first for me. Not quite sure how I'm going to ask for advice after this

Good old click bait, I'm not clever enough to come up with such thread titles!
