Does anyone know if the Thompson Morgan free trial tomato that was sent out in the gardeners world giveaway is a determinate/semi determinate or bush?
I'm looking but can't find any info thanks

Crimson Crush are cordon (indeterminate) tomatoes and not bush (determinate). They need to be pruned like the majority of tomato plants (e.g. Gardeners Delight) to produce the best crop.

Cordon or indeterminate tomatoes are generally grown by removing the side shoots, or "armpits" as they are sometimes known. Best nipped out when they are small, if they are bigger they can be rooted in water to make another plant.
Bush types or determinate tomatoes are left to get on with it. I am limited on space so I only grow cordon types.
          Which varieties are you growing?

I am growing Tumbling Tom, Cristal and Moneymaker. They are harding at the moment but plan to plant out next week when the weather improves.
