      This reminds me of those childhood riddles about which is heavier, a tonne of feathers or a tonne of stones?

          rst, one is actual compost, and the other is an additive that you put into your existing homemade compost to hurry it along.

            £3 for 20L of compost seems a bit steep to me.

            2nd product is showing as out of stock - unless available in stores? - and is a compost 'maker' rather than compost.

            Shouldn't a litre and kilogram somehow equate to pretty much the same by weight/volume - I thought that was why the metric system was so 'easy' to understand - but call me a Luddite - yes, hello, present! - but I still like to touch, feel and consider my options as offered - or walk away.

            You may like to check out online provider - I'm sorry but I can't remember which one I've previously recommended but its out there somewhere. Just remember that cheapest is not necessarily best unless you can get there, and have the muscle to get it into your transport for the journey home. Possibly CPA or something like that?

                  I thought it was pure fresh water (salt water weighs more) at 4 c?

                  And for purists, it's not exact, I think they changed the way it was worked out in the 60's, to be more exact, something like, 1.000003 litres or the like

                    If I'm making a cake and it says.. .150ml oil I substitute it with 150g prune puree (healthy option ) and it still seems to work fine
