Anyone intend to plant out this weekend?

I put the leek plants (Neptune?) I acquired from a boot sale on Sunday out on Tuesday and am going to start the parsnips and kale at some point tomorrow.

Not me, too yuk here. We had hail yesterday, torrential rain and supposed to be snowing tonight.

Going to do some module seed sowing, in hope that by the time they are ready for hardening off the weather will be bit better and soil warmer for planting out.

Here (in London) the forcast is down to 2 tomorrow night...and since frost is possible at 3 I'm holding fire on the module stuff.

I did however put out my Shetland blacks spuds today. They are planted deep and will have their straw 'blanket' on to keep them warm.

Only planting I've done so far is my red and brown onion sets which are under fleece to stop the Magpies from pulling them up, 6 Raspberry canes in and 30 Strawberry plants. The rest will have to wait as I'm certain its still too cold and wet for alot of things here. Good decent weather is still out of sight yet and its worth waiting to plant later, brassicas are still in the greenhouse in plastic coffee cups.

I was going to start this weekend until I read todays paper the forecast is pretty yuk for the next few days, so my plants can be cosseted a few days longer.

Some quite cold temperatures forecast for tomorrow night (-1 here) so I will be making sure everything outside is well wrapped up. Next week is looking VERY wet, unfortunately. Going to need a snorkel if some of the forecast runs are right

No plans to plant anything out until at least the back end of this month and even then that's weather permitting.

Spuds might go in in a fortnight.

My spuds really need to go in. Might try and get them in sunday and fleece them up. Usually have them in by now.
My peas are also going mad. Might get them in at home instead at the allotment.

Too soon for me.
I have lots of seeds starting in little paper pots, coming out on the patio in the morning and going to bed in the utility when it turns nippy.

I have beetroot, parsnips, celeriac, sweet peas, climbing peas poking their heads up and parsley and tomatoes just started in the windowsill propagators.

OH is planning to get spuds and raspberry canes in.

Also waiting for the black raspberry to arrive so that can go in too.

Have already put spuds in, laid seed sheets/tapes of Beetroot, Turnip, Parsnip & Swede. Broad beans are in as are Mangetout, Onion sets, Leeks & Peas. Would love to get the runners planted but don't want to tempt fate so they can stay in the greenhouse along with the Toms & Courgettes.

My first early potatoes are up. Covered with fleece for the next few nights.
All other plants and seedlings are either in the greenhouse or the conservatory and well protected.

I wanted to get the rest of my potatoes in but the forecast is terrible here.

And still far too cold for anything else to go out - this time last year was glorious!!
