There's multi purpose compost and there's multi purpose compost. Might be best to buy a single bag first to check what you are getting.

Good advice - i've used it before and its been fine for me unlike some other more expensive ones, but each to their own.

Its usually �2.98 for the 20 Litre bags so thats a very good saving.

The B&Q MP compost is by far the best of the many brands that I've used over the years. I'll get some during this offer.

Aldi also have 20l for 99p.

i got 35litre grow bags for �1 at inexcess.

compost certainly does seem to push the costs up, I'm on clay and just building some raised beds, I do make my own compost but demand outstrips demand so i buy it aswell.

By the way I got the other day 12 bags of growbag 30 litres type for �12 they are �1.33 each or buy in multiples of three for a pound each at your local Netto's

I got 80L this morning

I would like some growbags too but the nearest Netto to me is Northumberland going by their website

I'll keep an eye out in Asda as they usually have growbags going cheap and i thought they were good value last year.

Growbags are 6 for �10 at our local Wyevale, which makes them a reasonable �1.66 each, but only this cheap if you buy 6.
