Default Freezing new potatoes

OK, so I have a whole load of early pots requiring attention. I know potatoes aren't reknowned for their freezing potential, but does anyone have any techniques or recipes I could use. Someone mentioned a crushed roast potato recipe on the chat last night, but I only read that this morning, so couldn't ask about it; sounded nice though...

Waffler, you can straight freeze new potatoes, just blanch them for 5-6 mins then drop in freezing water until they cool right down. This messes with it's DNA and ensures they taste great when you get them out.

Same rules as for veg freezing really, just need a little longer to blanch.

Waffler - I had alot of Charlottes last year and posted a similar question, and can't remember who, suggested parboiling them, tossing in butter and then freezing. I did this and they made THE most beautiful roast potatoes in the winter. In just chucked them in to a small amount of hot olive oil whilst still frozen and 30 minutes later, beautiful crisp roasties.

I also did the same with some first earlies which got a bit nibbled by slugs and I had to cut them up into small bits.
