| It looks as if it is alright, the leaves still look fresh and green. Make sure you support the plant as much as possible so that it does not completely break off. You should be alright. Make sure the slugs and snails don't return to finish the job off. Ian |

| I had two which fell over in the wind - snapped almost right across. I left them on the ground as they were and they have stayed there, giving me lots of courgettes. Clearly the plant can still get enough nutrients from half a stalk. Just don't move it too much or you may snap it off completely. If the leaves haven't flopped (technical term) then fingers crossed all may still be well.

| The stems are meant to be hollow. The chewing isn't so good ... that's the trouble with grow bags, and plastic mulches ... they make lovely damp homes for molluscs.
