| my cherry toms are doing ok outside against a wall but the ones in the greenhouse have something wrong- once they have flowered, the flower buds just fall off at their base leaving only a stalk- there are no fruits at all- could this be a result of the greenhouse overheating?? i am sure someone knows the answer so many thanks in advance. |

| They don't need insects to pollinate them but you do need to get the pollen to move around within the flowers. A gentle daily shake will help. Try and keep the temperature under control - pollen won't be viable once you get up to 40 degrees Centigrade, which it does in my greenhouse. I can't grow tomatoes well in there. Cool it down and get some air through. Last edited by Cutecumber; 08-08-2007 at 11:19 AM. |
