Hi guys This may be a silly question, but do the met office predict a last frost date for different areas of the country? Or is it generally at the same time each year? I'm just trying to plan my hardening off and planting out! Thanks Mel ![]()

| Hi Mel, I've seen a map somwhere that has the last frost date's on in a sort of band (like they do for temperature) but I'm damned if I know where it is. The trouble is with this is will be a generalisation & you may live in a frost pocket & get caught out.

Hi cotton, you can,t really predict when the last frostwill occur in any given area. What i do is go into the weather site and then go to history and look back at previous years and you will get an general idea. Hope this is a little helpful. ![]()

Hello Cotton, if you don't already know about it you can get good gardening weather forecasts at www.metcheck.com

Hi, I go into a site called weather underground. Type in your country, then your county and then the history for any given year. It will give you a good idea of what to expect. Hope this is helpful. ![]()
