  • Electronic organizer?

I have an old Sharp electronic organizer that I used religiously until a few years ago when the screen lost some of its pixels; simple, fast, easy to use, intuitive, etc.

Before that I used a paper based planner. It was good too.

Personally, I hate smart phones. Not going that route. My flip-phone fits me perfectly.

I need an electronic organizer but they don't seem to make dedicated electronic organizers any more. I've been thinking of an Amazon Fire because you can run calendar, contact, and other apps that will work I think but I'm not sure that's the best way to go.

    Any suggestions?

What do you use be it paper or electronic or ???

Is it the Amazon fire stick you are thinking about or do you mean the Amazon kindle?
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Should have added I use notes on a calender, or something scribbled into a diary, but don't really need to bother, as OH likes to organise the things she thinks I should do

It's an Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet that I'm looking at.

I really need something to use for its organizing functions but these have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and several apps. It doesn't have a huge suite of apps from what I've read but it would probably have the organizing functions available at Amazon if they're not already installed by the time I receive it.

I'm open to suggestions and have lately been thinking about going back to a paper type solution; 8 1/2"x5 1/2" 3-ring binder full of lined paper, some tabbed dividers, etc. Worked before that way but thinking about taking a flying leap into the current millenium with a computer tablet.

You seem really well organized but I'll assume you're just using your superior brain power to stay on top of things based upon your reply. Perhaps an electronic organizer just gets in your way and slows you down. They only operate at the speed of light!

DWS I've got the Amazon Fire HD 7 its handy for browsing when I'm in the garden or on the sofa much better than my iphone with its tiny screen and buttons. I don't use the calendar function though I much prefer to write on my wall calendar.

I imagine you have a large pin board with 47 strings coming out of each seed packet. The other ends of the strings? Well they probably just go to random places.

Would you believe it! They named a number after me and didn't tell me
47 is also my age in a random sort of way

Have we to rearrange the numbers I don't like these types of problems

                              You're not meant to - it's a random answer
                              47 could be 4x7 =28
                              or 4+7 = 11 x 4 = 44 - 7 = 37

I like both of these answers
