  • Hello!

    Hi there,

I thought I should do a quick introduction! I am a new gardener who is ecstatic that she has finally moved into her own house instead of renting! We moved in last September but concentrated on the house first and I have slowly got to know the garden in that time and given it a tidy up as it was quite overgrown. I have loved seeing what the previous owners have planted and some things I am keen to keep and some I have started removing. Some things I am not even sure what they are eek! I am also keen to do some veg growing but the garden isn't that big so it may have to be the container garden route. We also have a conservatory that I am quite keen to use for growing too. I look forward to getting to know everyone here!

Hello Kelly & welcome to the vine. Feel free to put photos up of any plants you want to know the name of. Your conservatory will be perfect for Peppers & Tomatoes next year.

Hello Kelly - you have found yourself in just the right place to start your veggie growing ideas.

I grow in a variety of things, including teeny weeny raised beds, pots, tyres and wall planters as well as use the porch as a greenhouse so you are not alone with your growing ideas - there are lots of us on here!
