I was sat outside me greenhouse supping tea at 9-30 and saw the crescent and watch loads of bids flying away from the eclipse.

I watched it when I got home after dropping the kids off. Stood outside with a cuppa with the neighbours. Went really cloudy here so didn't need glasses, was so cloudy at one point we couldn't make the sun out at one point.
Was quite surprised how cold it went, I know the sun was covered up but it was bitter here when the eclipse was happening. The birds went very quiet here at one point but once it had past they all chirped up.

A bit too cloudy here. Didn't get very dark, but it was deathly cold.

I took this at Belfast city hall this morning- about three quarters of the sun was in shadow at this point, even though it still looks bright in the photo.

This is my photo, the sun only just emerging again and it was still quite dark but the eclipse doesn't show. My tame robin was there of course, sitting on the post that holds up my washing line

Watched it through my welding mask. Birds were quiet here too.

I use a mix of six scoops of compost three scoops of sand/grit and two scoops of perlite, the quantity is unimportant as long as the ratio is the same, if for seeds I use this mix, if I am potting on I add some blood, fish and bone, along with a small quantity of chicken manure pellets
