Hello all!
Sorry for my prolonged absence!
I am just popping on to invite any Leeds peeps to the opening of our school garden - at Bracken Edge Primary School Leeds LS7 4HE especially Big Mal who worked his backside off for 2 days in 2012 clearing the site with us!
WE were lucky enough to recieve £10,000 from Awards for All in April last year and we started work to make an outdoor growing space and classroom area. We have almost fiinished and want to celebrate!
The party is open to every one and will be on Tuesday 25th April 3.15-5.30.
We will have Leeds Childrens Circus on hand to teach circus skills, The Chain Reaction Bike powered sound system to provided some great music...you have to peal to keep the generator going though, and food from The Real Junk Food Project using intercepted food, plus lots of cake!
[B]For any one involved in school growing there will also be workshops on Saturday 26th April 10-12 with Leeds Edible Sustainable School network.
