  • SOS: Disaster to my IAC grapevine! Is this anthracnose? Help pls..

The young leaves turned dark, young berries turn brown..is this anthracnose? I have sprayed them with fungicide (carbendazim) yesterday and again today. Pls check the pictures in my blog - Jon Grapevines

Do I need to remove the affected leaves/vine?

    Thanks.

Jontih our forum is called the grapevine but this does not mean we are grapevine growing experts!
I think you will find that many of us are growing in very different conditions to you in Malaysia - you may find an Australian or US based forum will have more information for you. Try taking photos and posting them for advice. I found this article which has some pictures.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Jeanied, ahh..I see..got to find another forum!

thanks, rustylady...someone has confirmed that it's anthracnose, indeed..

Now I know why planting grapevine is not so popular in Malaysia! But believe you me, I will beat the odds!
