    I've lost me bits!!

    Not sure what's going on....all the bits at the top of my page have gone...as has my clock at the bottom!?The whole screen is taken up by the vine.
    I've tried logging off & turning off pooter...anyone got any ideas??
    Oh & I've tried clicking/dragging at the edges...except they don't seem to be there either!

    no idea, you are just a very careless person, how DARE you lose bits of the vine!

    on a more serious note, can you be more specific about what is missing?

      Right...I usually have 2 lines at the top of the screen with refresh,favourites,back/forward(& I'm sure many more that as yet I've not missed).Also at the bottom of the screen is usually a line telling me what time it is& which programmes are running(& the off switchlooks like a long night!!)
      Anyway...they've all just gone!

            Sounds like you're in full screen mode, will pressing 'esc' get you out?

                Press F11 to switch between full screen and normal viewing.

                  so you have screwed it up so bad you can't see file/edit/view etc?

                  ok been there done that need to think about it.

                  have you tried right clicking on the top, or mouse over the very top? my mum actually killed hers by dragging it closed
