    Any Guns'n'Roses fans?

    Just read the following in Marketing Week:

    Headline: Guns N' Roses hunts agency to push long-awaited album

    Rock band Guns N' Roses is seeking an advertising agency to promote their long-awaited next album in a major break from music industry tradition.

    Sources suggest that Universal Music has already contacted several London advertising hotshots to launch a marketing communications programme ahead of the global release of "Chinese Democracy", due out on November 25.....

    I never knew they were recording!? I'm guessing it's not the last line-up given that Duff, Slash and Matt are now in Velvet Revolver.

    Any thoughts on what it'll be like?

      I think there`s a bloke with a bucket on his head that plays guitar.
      They have been making this album for years and its been put back loads of times.
      Dr Pepper said they would give everyone in American a free can of drink if it came out before christmas.
      I don`t hold my breath.
      I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

        I'm a fan, but always wary of comeback albums. Will wait and see. Going to be getting the new AC/DC album for Steve for his birthday though

          It might be worth a listen alright, but I'll be happy with the AC/DC one for now (I didn't manage to get tickets to their show next spring - they sold out in 2 minutes flat last week, but I did win the album yesterday morning on the traffic show so I was happy coming in to the office!!).

            This is the album Axel has been working on for years.
            To be honest if the leaked tracks are anything to go by, i think i'll give it a miss

                  I like GN'R, I have a couple of tracks of the leaked tracks too, I like a couple of them. I think I will wait until I purchase anything....... I remember seeing them at Wembley Arena ages ago, they were fantastic then.

                    Apparently they played it on Radio 1 today along with AC/DC.
