You've got to wonder at the incompetence of it all...having said that a machete under the sun visor is a tad dangerous.

Aw come on, when you have tools everywhere, it gets like CDs - you start putting them anywhere that's out of the way! I have a rasp behind the passenger seat, at least two hoof knives in the back and until I recently switched bags, I had two multi-tools in my 'handbag'.
Most tradespeople avoid sign writing as it advertises also the tool thieves, including my OH. Sounds like another bobby with not enough to do!Comment

If you know any tradespeople, you'll know that all sorts end up as tools and they do end up everywhere - I've found screwdrivers on OH's sunvisor and believe me, he's not the aggressive sort! Bear in mind I'm NOT a tradesman (well, woman, actually!). My hoof knives are probably more than 3" long, so in theory I'm carrying a multitude of weapons! For a while I had my 'hay knife' in there, until I realised that at about 5" long and very sharp, it might not be very good to be stopped with that!
So, no cutting me up at roundabouts, people, or you'll get your hooves rasped.
I probably would question the breadknife, but bearing in mind the rest of the stuff in the van, I'd think far more damage could be done with those, so why would you carry one for a weapon?Comment
