  • Hairy Bikers

I met the Hairy Bikers. I work for the Womens Institute. The HB's have been filming for the Beeb. I wus going from our office to the main house when they got a call, I stopped and said hello. The lady who deals with this stuff says they were absolutely wonderful. I do know that the whole time they were on site there were hoots of laughter.

I also know that when Jamie Oliver filmed here he was extremely "difficult". He might have had reason to be that way, but we have to organise things so that those who have paid (a lot of) money to be there, enjoy their stay.

I loved the programme where they crossed the north of England and had tea with one of their mums. Really down to earth blokes. And they cook decent platefuls too!

My daughters boyfriend was on his motorbike last week in Matlock and chatted with them for a few minutes in between filming.

Glad you all enjoyed their visit Janie, I've not watched many of their prgrammes but funnily enough I saw the one where they had tea with one of their mum's, Flum! They always look like they'd be good fun!
