    Havent been able to get to the lottie since tuesday went to day and dug up my first spuds picked my first sweet peas and the smell oh heaven nothing like blowing your own trumpet especially as this is my first year. oh yeah oh yeah made me feel much better cos been ill.
    Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
    and ends with backache

    i picked my first ever, in the whole of my life, sweet peas today, i am so so so pleased that i grew them from a tiny seed and the joy of the flower is now there,

    what an achievement jackie - i cant wait till i grow my own spuds, gonna do that for christmas

          I've been waiting for my late planted Dutch Iris's to flower for ages and despite the foul weather, my wait was rewarded today by a single bloom It doesn't take much to keep me happy

            Everything was late going in this year, so still nothing to pick yet, but the strawberries aren't far away
