  • My cat Lilly is now called Billy!!!!!

Oh dear - took 5 month old cat (Lilly) to the vet this morning to get spayed! Apparently Lilly is now Billy!!!! And was castrated instead! What a shock! I had no idea my wee girl cat was a wee boy!!! It certainly explains why my two older boy cats had the total hump with her/him! Another tom cat in the house clearly didn't go down to well!!!!

We have just had our cat done as well but she remained Mimsy - she is quite devious and has already decided the neighbours would be better owners - i am hurt!

actually have decided that he'll still be called Lilly...I mean what's in a name? And how will he know the difference! Had a good laugh at work today where a colleague suggested I call him `Lily Savage'!!!! One of my other cats has gone to visit an elderly neighbour alot more since Lilly's arrival...she feeds him fish every Wednesday - what can I do? Cats are the most choosiest of animals I think, I'm sure you know this already...they have a complete mind of their own!!! And are devious to the nth degree - but this is probably what I like about them!

When I was little we had 2 rabbits called Emma and Suzie. They got put on the lawn together once to eat the grass. A few weeks later Emma had babies so Suzie should not have been a Suzie lol

We had the same problem off to the vets with a female and came back with a male! We decided to stick with the name Millie anyway, like you say he's not going to know. When we first got him I did think that he was a bit more feisty than any other kitten that I'd had, but I would never change him, he's the best!
