  • My Darling Dog

Just caught my SBT chomping on my mini nectarine tree, looked to be enjoying it!

Any advice on stuff I can put in / around the pot to disway her?

    Thanks

Mmm, our old lab made it impossible for us to grow anything remotely good at home - hence the allotment. Even grass was a non starter. We did have some success with 'sacrificial' plants, mint's a good one as not only is it (almost) impossible to kill, but it's non-poisonous gave him fresh(ish) breath and didn't cost too much to keep replacing. Other than that I haven't a clue, our old boy chomped any plant (and usually the pot too) from 8 weeks old until the day he died - sorry.

        Thanks Folks,

Barb wire might cost me when we have to visit the vets although I might try chichen wire.

As for her / dogs eating the pots as well i remember her running round the garden with a pot stuck on her head, that's my girl.

        Cheers

Our dog has the run of the house and the garden but as soon as we moved here (about 7 months ago) we taught her that she is not allowed on the veg patch - even when there was nothing growing so now she stays off it... well apart from the odd time when she thinks we're not watching - don't you just love dogs?

              Hello Jacob,

She's a staffie, 3 1/2, my last one was 13 when I had to have her put down, she is so loyal and loving I can't sulk with her for too long!

Only Poodles and Red Setters use napkins, Mrs D, SBTs use serviettes.
