  • Why aren't we all outside gardening?

I've just finished pottering and come inside to have something to eat and a quick log on to the Vine, and there are hundreds of us on here (including guests). Just a quick question, as it is still light (and fairly warm and dry down here in East Anglia) why are there so many of us on the Vine at this early hour of the evening?

I have done some weeding, planted out some broad beans and moved some rather substantial heathers (dunno if it will work but they had to move). Now I am cooking dinner and too pooped to do any more gardening.

I'm bone-tired and needing a holiday to recover from the holiday I just got back from. Today's about talking nicely to the plants in the house - tomorrow, once more unto the 'lottie!

The hailstones have been chucking it bigtime - on and off all day. So did the ironing and a big cook session.

Wasn't on here - wasn't gardening - was singing in choral society - one of my other vices!
