    had a thought today

we had the car in the garagre for a service today and went for a walk to T*s*o's to kill a bit of time while we were waiting, anyway as we were walking across the carpark the heavens opened, we dashed for the trolly shelter and whilst watching the rain turn to hail and back to rain it struck me that they would make a bl***dy good "polytunnel" type thing. anyone know where to get one of these from?

i will never look at these things the same way again

I have been saying this for a while, they must replace them at some point, so they must end up at a scrap yard/recycling centre........did you know that some people steal them for scrap???

Maybe we need to investigate this further lol...........

You've not been locked up yet then!!! I wonder if the bolt cutters that bike thieves use would help? Not sure where you buy them though. Perhaps there is a graveyard somewhere for lost or outdated trolley covers, you could always ask. Go on I dare you!!!

I found that once I had a lottie I looked at every thing in a different way, seeing if we could recycle it on the allotment. My Dad was the same, Like a blooming squirrel bringing things home and then hording them up the allotment till he could find a use for them. The worse was he always had a bucket and spade in the boot of the car just in case he spotted any horse/cow muck and he did regularly, brakes on, me and piskieinboots used to go flying throw the air (no seat belts in them days) and the smell on a hot Sunday afternoon with muck in the boot is something I have never forgotten. Just when I thought I had seen it all with squirrel Bumpkins, Dad came rushing home from work one day with a bucket half full of wet cement left over from some job he was doing and then rushing up the allotment with it so he could think of some where he could make a path with it and all before it set. Dads up in the big allotment in the sky now and I know darn well he will still be hording things even up there. Bless him

My Mum's up there too and I bet she'llbe telling him where best to put it. The best I ever got was coming home from hoz in the ambulance I spotted the ideal climbing frame for my beans just laid on the floor. I imediately phoned my neighbour and got hos big burly grandson to go and aquire said frame for me. Half an hour later just as I was begining to worry a very red faced David arrived and very quietly asked how closely had I seen the frame and was I wearing my glasses! The frame is a road block!!! A very large heavy one and yes it is ideal for my beans!!!
