Default Newbie rodent from Berkshire

Hello

New to growing vegetables and only started rather late in the year... nagged OH to assemble my four small beds. We don't have an ideal location or aspect, but having seen some of the great things that have been done by other gardeners.. I am hopeful.

I veer from 'impossibly impatient to get on with things' to 'laid back about it all happening'. I've gone with berserk with courgette plants so know that is one misjudgement already made - but not a disaster as I see from a post on here that you can make a chocolate cake with courgettes as a key ingredient.. so that combines two of my hobbies very nicely thank you!

Looking forward to learning a lot more.

Littlemouse.

Hi and welcome,
I've got great recipes for courgette cake, courgette chutney and a goats cheese and courgette parcel in filo pastry that makes a great starter if you do get overrun with the little darlings!

It's fairly obvious what happened on my plot last year isn't it?!!

Thank you for the welcome and I may have to take you up on your offer Lottieval. I still have some rather leggy courgettes still in teeny pots -which didn't even make it into the ground. I cannot bear to ditch them but a colleague at work has offered to take a couple.
