Default Introducing LadyPlod!!
Hi all,
Here's my intro.....
New allotment this May (waited years for it!!!) Now the proud owner of broken finger nails and hands that won't scrub clean! Got the family involved in this adventure. Kids have a small area where they are growing their own stuff and OH has his herb garden and I'VE GOT THE REST!!!!
Looking forward to harvesting something other than radishes soon, but think I was late this season in getting started so might be a bit behind!
Love, love, LOVING it all, even though I have little idea what I'm doing most of the time......
Got a question about sweet potato growing, so I'm off for help on the other forum!

Hi
Don't worry I planted late as well 2nd week in June before my beds were ready for planting so haven't had more than a few lettuce leaves yet. Hands that never clean me too I have to scrub before going to work as a home carer fortunately most of them knw I work in garden on days off!!

Ooh, Zazen999, just seen the extra bit on your message box about moon trial....... is that the lunar planting I've been reading about, sowing according to the lunar cycle? I want to have a go myself next year, so I shall be interested in your results!

Yes - moon trial now in progress. Moon crops doing marginally better thus far, but until I get harvests no decision made.

Got to get my calculator out and work out days to harvest the lettuces tho' - I feel a headache coming on.
