  • Hi There :)

    Hi,
I am Carly and i have just joined the site. i owned an allotment about 6 years ago. it was my first experiance at growing. (apart from when I was 8 years old and wanted to grow some, long story short my mum was not impressed at the 'dirt hole' left in her back garden which just ended up collecting water every time it rained! sorry mum)..... anyway with my allotment i grew potatoes, tomatoes, onion, garlic and carrotts. I didn't really know much about growing vegetables i just read up and followed instructions. Well after countless apartment accomodation i now have a lovely big back garden...........which was the most important feacture as i really missed growing vegetables. so.............i have started my seedlings (indoors) and the garden is prepared but now i am just waiting for the weather (typical uk) to bring us spring
I don't know much and have heaps to learn so i will be a frequent visitor i am sure..... I think the site is great with many years of knoweldge being passed down and i think it is great
    Carly

Hello Carly, welcome to the Grapevine. Whereabouts are you? If you add your location (nearest town) to your profile it will show up on your posts and helps a lot when giving advice.

You can see from my posts that I live in Lowestoft.
