Default Hi, New to growing your own

I have never much cared for gardening in the past, which is why my back garden is now fully flagged. However, my brother got me interested in growing some herbs and from this I have started to grow some other veg (carrots, onions, cabbage, spinach). All this has been done using containers. Now my wife is wanting me to grow some fruit, already growing strawberries and I fgancy growing raspberries. I have trawled the internet to try and determione that if I got a long enough and deep enough container and trained the raspberries against my back fence do you think it would be successful. If not will have to resort to blueberries or such like.

Regards
Ian

Hi and welcome Garric. And get those flags up! Fruit will do better in deeper soil.
