Hi and welcome megan. I've just got half a lottie and I'm hoping to start some planting there soon. I had one years ago before we moved here so I'm not quite a lottie virgin! I've been growing everything in the garden since we came here - bought the house partly because of its long garden - but felt the need for more space. You'll never look back!

Welcome to GYO, Megan. Whats wrong with growing on the banks of the canal? You could have little gardens all over the canal system and if you forget to cast off when you want to go for a cruise, you'll just tow your garden along with you How about a little herb garden in pots?

HI and welcome Megan - I echo the 'how lovely living on a narrow boat' thoughts, and also wish you the best of luck with the lottie. I have one for the first time this year as well, there are lots of us all learning together. (Nearly said all in the same boat, but I doubt we'd all fit )
