  • Hello from London

    Hello

I have a little half plot in London. It's been mine since March and has a mature plum tree, an apple tree and an awful lot of couch grass and bindweed.

I grew quite a lot of food this year just by manuring then covering with plastic and planting through while waiting for the concrete (compacted clay) to soften down a bit.

So, now it's time to peel back the plastic and I'm here to find inspiration and advice as the real work begins!

Hi muddled, and welcome!! I'm quite new here too, and I'm originally from London. Did my first gardening as a kid on London clay. I live a long way from there now, with a very different soil, but still have the couch grass and bindweed
