Hiya Finney. Do you want to grow them inside or out?

I'm no expert, but I know ours that we grew in the greenhouse were prolific and sprawled everywhere. They got treated the same as the toms, but liked lots of water like squashes. Never grown one outside, but we're giving it a go this year with a cuke called Straight * from the States.

Hi finney, if you let us know roughly where you are (so we know what weather/temps are likely for you) plus what your set up is (greenhouse, patio, allotment etc) plenty of people should be able to post their answers here for you

Finney - I've replied to your PM, but basically, although you can remove some leaves, don't strip the plant and make sure you keep up with feeding very regularly to make sure the plant doesn't stall.

Sorry finney, I've never grown cucumbers. We'd not eat enough of them to make it worth my while.

Plenty of people on here will have teh answers you seek. Good luck.
