  • Bulk washing up liquid

Sorry not actually a cooking topic, but "in the kitchen" nonetheless, wasn't sure where to put it?

I was going to buy a replacement big 5l thingy of ecover washing up liquid from mole valley farmers, but I wondered if any of you grapes have an alternative source for waterways friendly washing up liquid and other cleaning stuff? I thought I might do a big bulk buy, but I don't really like the smell of ecover, and the last one lasted so long I could really do with a change! know any good websites?

I can get refills for mine at a local farm shop so tend to do that - not much help to you though.

Did you know you can buy 2 (it could be 3 now actually) different fragranced Ecover WUL's? I've always had the Camomile and Marigold until recently, when I discovered the lemon one, and like it heaps better! I buy mine from a wholesaler, but it might be tricky to find the alternative types in bulk elsewhere I suppose. But may be worth a sniff of the other fragrance when you get the chance? Good luck!

I use Ecover and find it's a tad cheaper to get a new 1L from Tescos + Points than re-fill from my local Eco House place which has very inconsistant opening times.

At Garden Organic Shop Ryton I did spot a small Bottle of Ecover Washing up liquid that is Pink Grapefruit smell. Not bought one though.

I get E-News from this place, but never used them... Ethicalsuperstore.com: Fair Trade, Eco-friendly & Organic Shopping

It's ridiculous isn't it although I'd still rather refill if here isn't much in it as I feel guilty with all the empty bottles and there are only so many I need for things around the garden.

Wow, Seasprout - what an interesting link - thanks! Not sure I'd shop there everyday but it has some really good products.
