Allotment Cookbook by Kathryn Hawkins Just got an e-mail from Amazon recomending this book, anybody know what it's like, apparently it contains a comprehensive A-Z glossary covering all the most popular fruit and vegetables grown on an allotment with tips on storage, freezing, preserving and preparation techniques, along with quick and original ideas on how to make the most of the produce while it is in season without getting fed up with it. This is then followed by a recipe section, featuring 60 delicious recipes. If people think it's good may put it on my birthday list for next month (I'm not meant to be buying myself any more cook books but presents don't count.............)
