    Are you sitting comfortably?

    Then I'll begin...

    Once upon a time, long, long ago before M&M's there was a confectionary item that used to have children salivating. Well, they did me.

    I got home last night, and look what was on the stand by the TV (see attached file).

    She didn't remember them and just thought they were something new.

    Didn't they used to be spelled properly though? I'm sure I remember them as Treats, not Treets.

        Love her, she's far too young for her own good

        Takes me back to when I was a tot. My Daddy used to work for Mars in Slough and he bought home all manner of goodies and we were often given new sweets to try.

            Ooh, I remember them! But, yeah, I thought it was Treats, not Treets...

            When are they going to bring back Galaxy chocolate drops, they were great! Like a Minstrel without a shell, in a white packet with a picture of a giraffe on it... Mmmmmm..

              No the spelling is correct Treets, my favorite sweet of the sixties. Had some the other day - still just as good, but maybe a bit smaller?

                  I thought they were Treats too and you can't believe anything you read on wikipedia anyway so I'm sticking with my rather dodgy memory..................

                              It is Aztec bars I miss the most. They used to have a raisin centre and were very nice. They were only available for a short time and I have always wanted them to bring them back
